Your grades stay on your device

Privacy

GradeScenario runs calculations in your browser. It does not require an account, and the site code does not send your grades or course names to a server or analytics service.

iEstimates use only the rules you enter. The example grade-point scale is a U.S. college 4.0 model, not any school’s official policy or a local grading system.

Local storage

Tool entries may be saved in your browser’s local storage on this device so you can return to them. Use “Clear saved data” in the footer to remove them. You can export your entries and results as a JSON file; the download is created locally in your browser. Do not share that file unless you intend to disclose its contents.

Network requests

The static website requests its HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from the host. A hosting provider may retain ordinary server logs, including IP address and request times, under its own policies. This site does not put grades into URLs, and the first release has no analytics, advertising, or paid API calls.

External sites

Links to MRKCAL sites open independent websites with their own privacy practices. GradeScenario does not pass grade entries in those links.

Use the same assumptions through each step, and check your school’s rules before acting on an estimate.
